Position Summary:
The HR Data Entry Processor is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining employee information in Human Resources systems. This role supports HR Benefits operations by ensuring data integrity, timely processing of personnel transactions, and strict confidentiality of sensitive employee records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Entry: Accurately enter, update, and maintain high volumes of employee records in HRIS and related systems, including hires, terminations, job changes, and compensation updates, while meeting established timelines and quality standards.
• Data Accuracy: Verify employee data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to entry, and conduct routine audits to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies.
• Compliance: Maintain organized, secure digital employee records in accordance with company policies and confidentiality requirements.
• Onboarding Support: Support onboarding processes by ensuring required documentation is complete, accurate, and properly documented.
• Department Communication: Respond to internal requests for employee data in a timely and professional manner while maintaining strict confidentiality. Cross train in department inbox management and front desk responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned

Qualifications:
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting process driven workflows, including entering, validating, and maintaining confidential data across multiple systems while meeting established deadlines.
• Maintain a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, reflect His character in all interactions, and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, Doctrinal Statement and Declaration of Christian Community
Nice to Have:
• Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in human resources, payroll, academic administration, or a similar office environment.
• Experience working with enterprise systems or databases (e.g., HRIS, data management, student information systems, financial systems, or applicant tracking systems).
• Experience in a postsecondary organization.

Able to prioritize and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail, managing multiple projects and deadlines at a time.
• Professional Reliability & Independence – Works well independently and collaboratively, demonstrates initiative, meets deadlines, and maintains high standards of professionalism.
• Background Check: Must pass initial and ongoing background checks as a condition of employment.
