Position Summary:
The Manager of Campus Visits and Events advances the University's enrollment goals by leading a comprehensive campus visit and event strategy that delivers an exceptional prospective student experience. This position oversees the planning and execution of campus visits and recruitment events, supervises visit and guest experience staff and students, and collaborates across campus to ensure a welcoming, mission-centered experience that encourages student engagement and enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Campus Visit Strategy & Enrollment Support: Lead the development, management, and continuous enhancement of campus visit experiences, including individual visits, group visits, and recruitment events. Collaborate with Admissions leadership to ensure visit and event strategies support institutional enrollment goals and priorities.
• Recruitment Event Leadership: Direct the planning, coordination, and execution of admissions events that effectively engage prospective students and families, promote the University's distinctive strengths, and contribute to recruitment and enrollment objectives.
• Guest Experience & Hospitality: Champion an exceptional visitor experience by fostering a culture of hospitality that reflects the University's mission and values. Ensure prospective students, families, and guests experience a welcoming, professional, and Christ-centered environment throughout every campus interaction.
• Staff & Student Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and develop staff and students responsible for campus visits, tours, and front-desk operations. Cultivate a service-oriented team that represents the University with professionalism, enthusiasm, and authenticity.
• Cross-Campus Partnerships & Coordination: Serve as the primary coordinator for visit and event logistics, building strong relationships with faculty, coaches, staff, and campus departments to ensure seamless, personalized experiences for prospective students and families.
• Visit Operations & Communications: Oversee visit scheduling, guest communications, and operational processes to ensure efficient coordination, timely follow-up, and meaningful engagement throughout the prospective student journey. Meet with prospective students and families as needed to support enrollment efforts and enhance the visitor experience.
• Assessment & Continuous Improvement: Utilize visitor feedback, enrollment data, and industry best practices to evaluate the effectiveness of campus visits and recruitment events. Implement improvements that strengthen engagement, enhance operational excellence, and support enrollment outcomes.
• Budget & Resource Stewardship: Manage budgets, purchasing, and resource allocation for campus visits and events, ensuring responsible stewardship of University resources and the effective delivery of high-quality programming.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in admissions, enrollment management, event management, higher education, customer service, hospitality, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating events, programs, or projects.
• Minimum of one (1) year of previous supervisory or leadership experience, including training, coaching, and developing staff and/or student employees or relevant experience.
• Maintain a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, reflect His character in all interactions, and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, Doctrinal Statement and Declaration of Christian Community

• Financial Oversight: Experience managing budgets and financial resources within assigned responsibilities.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Background Check: Must pass initial and ongoing background checks as a condition of employment.
