Position Summary:
The Temporary Testing Center Proctor provides proctoring services for students with disabilities who receive testing accommodations as well as make up exams for all students.

This temporary position is scheduled at 28 hours per week during instructional periods. For partial instructional weeks, hours will be coordinated with the supervisor. No hours are scheduled during academic breaks. The position ends on May 15, 2026.

Applicants should provide a portfolio of recent graphic design work demonstrating creativity and proficiency in digital and print design.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and Monitor Exams: Oversee the secure and accessible administration of exams for students with disabilities and others requiring make-up testing, ensuring compliance with institutional and testing guidelines.
• Coordinate Testing Logistics: Manage scheduling and communication with students and faculty through the Testing Center software and other platforms to facilitate smooth exam processes.
• Maintain Testing Environment: Ensure the testing space is welcoming, orderly, and compliant with accessibility and academic integrity standards, including daily sanitization and readiness.
• Provide Frontline Academic Support: Serve as a first point of contact for the Academic Achievement Team, assisting with reception duties, general inquiries, and directing students to appropriate resources.
• Support Administrative and Accessibility Services: Assist with department administrative tasks and support services such as disability accommodations, alternative formatted materials, and non-ADA academic support cases.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Maintain a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, reflect His character in all interactions, and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, Doctrinal Statement and Declaration of Christian Community

Nice to Have:
• Prior experience in a testing or academic environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• Written & Verbal Communication: Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular hours, including early mornings depending on testing schedules
• Background Check: Must pass initial and ongoing background checks as a condition of employment.
• Lift up to 20 lbs.; stoop, kneel, crouch, and handle materials, frequently.
