Position Summary:
The Senior Video Producer serves as Faith Media’s hands-on lead video production professional, advancing the mission through high-quality live and recorded video content. This in-person role oversees production operations, technical systems, creative standards, and production workflows to ensure excellence, consistency, and effectiveness across digital media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Video Production Leadership: Lead and participate in the planning, setup, execution, and continuous improvement of live and recorded video productions, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and aligned with organizational objectives and quality standards.
• Systems Management: Oversee, operate, and support video production systems, equipment, and studio infrastructure, including cameras, lighting, video switching and routing, recording, graphics/playback, streaming, remote contribution, and related hardware and software. Maintain reliable operations, troubleshoot technical issues, maintain system documentation, evaluate production technology and equipment needs, and recommend improvements, upgrades, and future system development and recommend improvements that support current and future production needs.
• Production Standards & Quality: Establish and uphold production standards that promote visual excellence, brand consistency, technical quality, and effective storytelling across all video content.
• Workflow Optimization: Develop, implement, document, and refine scalable production workflows, system configurations, technical procedures, and processes that improve efficiency, consistency, collaboration, and content delivery.
• Team Leadership: Supervise assigned video production employees by providing training, coaching, work direction, performance feedback, and ongoing development to support high-quality production outcomes.
• Post-Production Oversight: Lead and perform post-production activities as needed, including editing workflows, asset management, quality control, and content repurposing strategies to maximize the value and reach of production resources.
• Digital Content Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support content publishing, platform optimization, audience engagement initiatives, and the effective use of video across digital channels.
• Remote Productions: Develop and support reliable workflows for remote hosts and guests, ensuring remote video sources are integrated into live and recorded productions at the highest practical quality.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Media Production, Broadcasting, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in video production, broadcast production, digital media production, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience producing and managing professional video production systems and equipment.
• Demonstrated experience leading production teams, projects, or contributors.
Nice to Have:
• Experience training, mentoring, or developing employees, students, volunteers, contractors, or similar contributors.
• Experience in podcast, radio, broadcast, faith-based, nonprofit, or mission-driven media environments.
• Supervisory experience in a professional setting
• Experience utilizing analytics, audience insights, or platform performance data to inform content strategies.

• Leadership & Supervision: Ability to provide direction, coaching, accountability, performance feedback, and professional development for video production employees, student employees, contractors, and other production contributors.
• Video Production Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of professional video production principles, multi-camera workflows, lighting, audio-for-video, live and recorded production environments, livestreaming, and post-production best practices. Ability to integrate, route, synchronize, and monitor audio for video production and ensure consistent audio quality.
• Post-Production Expertise: Proficiency with professional nonlinear editing workflows, including hands-on editing, color correction, audio finishing, media management, and export/delivery standards.
• Production Systems & Troubleshooting: Ability to operate, maintain, diagnose, and resolve issues involving production hardware, software, and workflow systems.
• Workflow Development: Ability to create, document, implement, and improve procedures that enhance production quality, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Creative Judgment: Ability to apply strong visual storytelling, production quality, branding, and content presentation standards.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
• Travel: Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for work-related purposes.
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Background Check: Must pass initial and ongoing background checks as a condition of employment.
